Children are a very important part of the Donelson Heights family.  We seek to provide a variety of offerings to enable children (from infancy to 5th grade) to be formed in the Christian faith.

These offerings include:

Sunday School classes (see below)
Wednesday evening activities of fun, fellowship and Bible study.  Currently grades 1-5 come 
    together as a
Children's Choirs
Early Childhood Program (ECP)

Other special activities include:

Vacation Bible School
Summer Camp
Acolyte Training

Children's Sunday School

Each Sunday at 9:15 a.m., all children are invited to explore and learn about their faith in an exciting and interactive setting.  We have children's Sunday school classes as follows:

Nursery - Jodi Cassidy, Lead Nursery Worker
Pre-K through K - Mary Anne Williams, lead teacher
1st  thru 3rd grades - Melissa Cheatham, lead teacher
4th and 5th grades - Nancy Cathey, lead teacher

We use the "Exploring Faith" curriculum in grades 1 - 5.  It covers the stories of the Bible over a period of four years.  Different learning preferences and multiple skill levels are included.  Join us for Sunday School this week!!  (Teacher helps for Exploring Faith click here)
