CHILDREN!

Children's Sunday School

Each Sunday at 9:15 a.m., all children are invited to explore and learn about their faith in an exciting and interactive setting.  We have children's Sunday school classes as follows:

Nursery - Jodi Cassidy, Lead Nursery Worker
Cherubs, ages 2-4 years - Kathy Fasig
Pre-K through 3rd grade - Mary Anne Williams, lead teacher
4th – 5th  grade - Nancy Cathey, lead teacher

United Methodist Elementary Fellowship – Linda Carney, lead teacher
Teacher Assistants: Amy Brown, Rose Hoak and Mindy Hamilton

We use the "One Room Sunday School Resource" curriculum from ages 3-12.   Teacher One Room Sunday School helps teachers present a lesson to a broadly-graded group that is challenging enough to hold the interest of their older children without going over the head of their younger children.

The topics covered in this quarter include:
Unit 1: Hope is Born
Unit 2: Jesus, Son of God
Unit 3: Jesus and His Ministry

                                  Children’s Sunday Choir
All Children are welcome to join us each Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:25 as we make a joyful noise. Children will periodically sing their rehearsed songs during worship, during visits to home-bound member and church plays.

Our Children's Sunday school wing is undergoing some BIG changes.  We are painting, redecorating and just generally brightening the place up  Check it out:
