"I was very reluctant to put our daughter in childcare just prior to one year of age, but had little choice due to work schedules.  At the time, we only used cloth diapers, co-slept, and didn't permit her to have processed foods.  Most places I spoke to prior to finding ECP would not allow her to use cloth diapers while in their care, had set menus, and didn't seem to be very understanding of the difficulties we had with nap-time as a result of our home sleeping arrangements.

I was so relieved to find none of these roadblocks at ECP; the entire staff has been extremely welcoming from day one.  There is an air of understanding and compassion for the children at ECP that I did not find at other places.  We especially appreciate that there are a number of Montessori-minded families within the school and the classrooms seem to be set up in a manner that accommodates this:  There's not a TV in sight, lots of wooden toys, outside time, and art projects.  I would highly recommend the Donelson Heights Early Childhood Program to anyone seeking part-time childcare for your little one(s); we have never been disappointed."

"I can't even begin to tell you how much I adore ECP.  When I found ECP, I was a first-time mom and extremely anxious about this new adventure in childcare.  I immediately knew we were in the right spot from the very first parent orientation meeting.  I saw nursing babies in cloth diapers and baby-wearing mommas!  It was so refreshing to find a program that is not only open minded about natural-minded parenting, but they embrace it.  This became even more evident as my daughter began to attend.
